Overview

This system is a whole-body CT scanner providing outstanding image quality, clinical performance, and great flexibility. It utilizes a Quantum detector that provides true isotropic resolution in the small field view in the industry, 0.5mm. This allows users to scan in one place, reducing radiation while maintaining the ability to choose a desired thickness for viewing. The Aquilion's Quantum detector is the only one that provides three slice-width combinations - 16 x 0.5mm, 16 x 1mm, and 16 x 2mm. It also achieves the industry's best low-contrast resolution at 0.5-second scans.
